The Cat is Out of the Bag...
We are having another baby! Yes, you read that right, we are (I mean I am) pregnant with baby #5! My due date is June 23rd. So for all of you with big families out there I'd love to hear your advice/secrets. I don't know too many people with 5 children so I need all the encouragement I can get. We are excited! I'm trying to decide if I should find out the gender of the baby....what do you think? I only found out with baby #4 (Grace), and I kinda thought it was boring to find out, but I'd love to hear what you think.

CONGRATULATIONS, LAURA!!! I don't know what to blame this on, but I'm almost crying. I am SO blessed that you are open to this since you're right - it's kinda rare! I don't know that many people with even four. I told my doctor yesterday I need a certain test NOW in case we do have another baby and she looked at me like I'm crazy - to her credit, she really was joking and still respectful. Do you mind if I lean on you a little? I'll enjoy hearing how you're doing and what you're thinking. You guys are such great people and have strong faith - the world will benefit from the children you're bringing into it! God bless you TONS and we'll be praying for new baby Wilkinson!

Wow! If I was a really good friend (like Teri), I would have said all that stuff that she said.....instead of standing there staring at you. Now that the shock is starting to wear off....I am thrilled for you and if any mom can handle 5---it is YOU! Remember, God knew about this baby even before Josh did :) !

OH MY GOODNESS!!! How exciting and crazy and fun! I can only give you advice on what it's like growing up in a family of 5:loud and so much fun! Even now when we're all together, it's automatically a party. : ) I LOVED my big family growing up and still do. If you want, I'll set you up with my mom and my sister (who now has SIX kids) and you can ask them all the questions you want. I have no idea how they did/do it. I can barely manage 3! :) Congrats to you all!!!
(Hmmm... I should get you together with my sister... she has 5 boys and 1 girl. You'd make a great match! haha!)

My only advice is do not have the baby 4 days early. June 19 is my day and I share it with nobody!!!

Hi, I am Teri's friend and blogger and mother of five - so congrats! You'll love it - if you love four, you'll love five. My baby just turned 1 and the weirdness of it does wear off. You go out in public to shop with all the kids and you don't think about the spectacle! You don't remember all their names, but you didn't when you had three. You will relish that baby and then that baby will turn one and you'll think,.. well, maybe six,... : ) Congrats!! And so weird, we used to live up in Coarsegold for a while - what a beatiful area!
